Please read these shop policies carefully before making any purchase.

Vintage and Secondhand Disclaimer

All items are vintage and secondhand. Items may have imperfections, chips, scratches, and/or general wear and tear. We inspect the condition of each item before choosing to add it to the shop. We will clearly describe any imperfections in the item description and document these within the item photos. Items are priced accordingly to their condition. To the best of our ability, we strive to include the maker or brand of vintage items and any relevant attributes. This is determined using maker's marks and research. We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.

Erstwhile Goods specializes in one-of-a-kind finds which means there is no back stock.

All sales are final, and items are sold as-is. We do not offer refunds or accept returns.

Open Box Feature

"Open box" means you can claim and pay for items which I will then hang onto until the window expires or you ask to have your box shipped to you. This means you can purchase multiple items from multiple drops/collections and pay for shipping only once when your box ships.

The window of time includes four drops/collections, up to four months. If you choose to use this feature, your name will be recorded with your open box start date and any items you have purchased along the way.

How it works: For Instagram Purchases

You claim the item you want and tell me you want to start an open box. You will then pay for the item at that time via Venmo (preferred). When the window of time expires or you want me to ship your box, I'll pack everything up and send you a request for payment for shipping.

How it works: For Website Purchases

If you see something you'd like to purchase on my website shop but want to use the open box feature, send an email to erstwhilegoodsnh@gmail.com or send me a DM on Instagram with the link or photo of the item.

I will send you a request for payment via Venmo (preferred) and have you pay for the item at that time. I will then mark it as "sold" on my website. When the window of time expires or you want me to ship your box, I'll pack everything up and send you a request for payment for shipping.

Shipping

Erstwhile Goods ships primarily via USPS or UPS. All orders have tracking. It is our goal to ship packages out within 5 business days of receiving an order. Please be mindful of current possible shipping delays.

We ship only within the U.S. We offer $8 flat rate shipping on most orders, unless otherwise noted, with $.50 added per extra item. We also offer $12 priority shipping with $.75 added per extra item.

To be as sustainable as possible, we reuse and recycle shipping materials; therefore, you may find various markings not associated with Erstwhile Goods on your package.

Damaged/Broken-in-Transit Policy

All items are carefully packaged by hand and shipped from New Hampshire. We acknowledge that sometimes, despite our best efforts, items may arrive damaged or broken in-transit. If this happens, you must take photos of the item damage and box damage and email the photos to erstwhilegoodsnh@gmail.com within three (3) business days of delivery for next steps.

Lost In-Transit Policy

You will be provided a tracking number once your item has shipped. If an item is lost in-transit*, please erstwhilegoodsnh@gmail.com for next steps.

*Lost In-Transit means the shipment tracking is showing the item "en route" still, and it is several days past the estimated arrival date.

Missing or Stolen Packages Policy

Once the shipment carrier has marked an item "delivered," Erstwhile Goods has no ability to track items further. We regretfully are unable to offer a refund due to missing or stolen packages.
